April 11–17, 2026
Venue: Scarboro United Church – 134 Scarboro Avenue SW
Welcome!
We look forward to seeing you at the Pathways Program, presented by the Canadian Music Competition – Southern Alberta Committee. We hope you enjoy your experience!
Note: Pathways now serves as the preliminary round for the Canadian Music Competition National Finals.
What to Bring
Physical copies of all sheet music or scores, with measure numbers clearly marked at beginning of each line.
These are required for copyright compliance, as clinicians will use printed copies.
Pianists should bring their pedal extension, if applicable.
Your class order and session time will be sent via email in mid-March.
Arrival & Check-In
Enter through the front doors on Scarboro Avenue.
Please arrive early for check-in.
Masks are recommended but not required.
Enter and exit quietly, as performances will be in progress throughout the day.
What to Expect
Volunteers and the Project Coordinator will be available to greet and guide you.
Sessions will take place in two venues: the Chapel and the Sanctuary.
Family and friends are welcome to attend. (Audience in the Chapel is limited to 6 guests due to capacity.)
Warm-Up
Two warm-up spaces will be available. Please note that neither space contains a piano.
Performance Guidelines
Sanctuary: Enter the stage from the front of the church (a volunteer will assist).
Chapel: Enter the stage area from the hallway.
After performing, please remain onstage while the clinician records comments, then provides feedback.
Younger groups will perform consecutively, with feedback provided to the class as a whole.

Please exit through the side door onto 15 Ave SW. Directional signs will be posted throughout the building.
Thank you for being a part of Pathways 2026. We look forward to sharing this musical journey with you!
